I am a Mexican-born Australian. I was born in Mexico City and moved to Australia for my postgraduate studies. I completed a Master's degree in International Political Economy at the University of Melbourne. After finalising this degree, I worked in various industries in innovation management and strategt roles. Eventually, I decided to pursue a doctorate and successfully completed a PhD from the University of Sydney Business School on full scholarship. I am a full-time lecturer/assistant professor at the same institution.
As an applied researcher, I led the Behavioural Research and Innovation area at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. I collaborated with over 40 academic researchers globally on topics related to financial decision-making, climate action, and artificial intelligence. Facilitating multi-million, multi-year a research on climate action and AI.
